![]() Next stage in her career was turning to scientists: She planned three weeks visit in New York, but fascinated by the city she never left it. She took it to New York (1929) and she wanted to promote Atget’s art. She became admirer of his work and after his death she bought plenty of his work (more than 1,000 glass negatives and 7,000 prints). In 1925 she was introduced to Eugène Atget’s by Man Ray. ![]() 3 years later she had her first solo exhibition and she has started her own studio. Impressed by her work he allowed her to use the darkroom for her own photographs. She was hired as a darkroom assistant by Man Ray at his portrait studio. In 1923 for the first time she became involved with photography. In 1921 she went to Paris where she took sculpture course. She is best known for her photographs of the New York’s architecture.
